Hey folks! It’s been a while since I haven’t updated the blog. Ever since I’ve been done with school for the semester, I’ve been working extra hours…so that I can once again offer myself a memorable summer!
As I’m writing these lines, Mother Nature is blessing the city of Montreal with a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. Yet, we still can’t say that summer has arrived because Canadian weather has a way of playing with people’s feelings. So instead, let me just say that spring feels a lot like summer to me already.
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram (@lauryverdieu), you know that I went on a trip to Grenada with Miguel last week! It was everything one looks for in a vacation: beauty, warmth, tranquility and fun. I can’t wait to show you the pictures that Miguel shot for me while we were there (thanks again hon).
I have yet to sort and edit the pictures because when I’m not working, I’m procrastinating. I haven’t even undone my luggage yet (I’ve been back for 8 days now). I’ll get to that shortly, but in the meantime, here are a few yummy pictures I took while eating at Griyo a while ago. It is a Creole restaurant located in the Ahuntsic neighborhood. Their tapas and meals are perfect to share with friends or your significant other. You’ll also enjoy the music being played (Caribbean artistsĀ have this way of turning every pop song into Konpa, Zouk, Soka or wtv, it’s hilarious!).
